Travel News was founded in 1985 and is an independent business publication for the travel and tourism industry.Travel News is Sweden’s leading trade publication for the travel and tourism sector. We cover the meetings industry and business travel, travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, airports, hotels, ferry companies, rail operators, bus companies, and car rental firms. Travel News also reports on IT developments within the industry, as well as political and legal decision‑making. We follow management trends, financial performance, and payment flows across the sector.

Since 1 November 2015, Travel News has once again been part of Res. Res was founded in 1981 by Eva and Magnus Rosenqvist. The company is still run by the same family and remains an independent publishing house.
