Copenhagen airport sets new record
Twelfth consecutive month of record levels.
In March, 2.59 million passengers travelled via the airport, an increase of 16 percent compared to the same month last year. This made it the busiest March ever. This is stated in a press release.
The total passenger volume amounted to seven million during the first quarter of the year, which corresponds to an increase of 14 percent compared to the same period in 2025.
A contributing factor to the increase is that Easter fell earlier this year, which meant that more travellers flew already in March. At the same time, Copenhagen continues to strengthen its role as an international hub - nearly 730,000 of the month's passengers were transfer travellers.
