SAS ties insurance giant to EuroBonus - targets 40,000 new customers

SAS is expanding its EuroBonus loyalty programme through a new partnership with the insurance group Tryg. The partnership means that members in Sweden, Denmark and Norway can earn EuroBonus points on selected insurance policies from Trygg-Hansa and Tryg.

The initiative is another step in SAS’s strategy to make Eurobonus a lifestyle programme that extends beyond travel and into members’ everyday lives.

In Sweden, the offer includes selected insurance products from Trygg-Hansa, while customers in Denmark and Norway are given a corresponding opportunity through Tryg. The idea is to link insurance purchases to the travel benefits that Eurobonus members already use.

For the Tryg Group, the goal is clear: to attract around 40,000 new customers in Scandinavia over the next five years.
