EU’s new Airbnb rules now take effect

The EU is now taking a major step towards tighter control of the rapidly growing short-term rental market. From today, the union’s new rules for short-term rentals begin to apply in full – with new requirements for platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo.
