In the first phase, 25 hotels join the collaboration and become part of the WorldHotels Crafted brand.

The alliance provides De Historiske's members with extensive distribution in the USA, the United Kingdom, and the EU. Additionally, the collaboration strengthens WorldHotels' presence in Norway, contributing to the hotel portfolio now comprising 37 hotels in Scandinavia.

- This is a collaboration that is completely in line with our values. We seek partnerships with hotels that are run with heart, have a clear identity, and want to continue being personal but also see the strength in collaborating on visibility and loyalty. Through the collaboration with De Historiske, our focus on hospitality and experiences is reinforced. It is a natural step in our growth strategy in Scandinavia and an opportunity to reach more guests who are looking for something more than just a room, says Johan Michelson, CEO of BWH Hotels.

The collaboration begins with 25 hotels from De Historiske in the first phase. Among the hotels joining are Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri, led by Bocuse d'Or winner Ørjan Johannessen, the venerable Kviknes Hotel, and the historic Sundvolden Hotel, to name a few. Both WorldHotels and De Historiske view the development very positively, and the ambition is that more of De Historiske's hotels that wish to do so will gradually join in future phases.

- Our hotels in De Historiske will contribute to WorldHotels and at the same time attract more international guests to cultural and heritage tourism at unique historical sites in Norway. Norway is a unique destination and we look forward to welcoming guests from all over the world through the collaboration with WorldHotels, says Nils Henrik Geitle, CEO of De Historiske.

De Historiske is a membership organisation that brings together many of Norway's most charming historical hotels and restaurants. The network consists of 73 hotels, 26 restaurants and 3 historical ships.
