Rolfs Flyg & Buss founder has died

Rolf Karlsson was born in 1947 in Lidköping and began organising coach trips from Hisingen in Gothenburg. On the first trips to Poland, he worked as both coach driver and tour leader.

His son Emanuel Karlsson took over as CEO in 2006, but Rolf Karlsson remained involved in the company’s operations and development until his death.

He is survived by three children, grandchildren, other relatives and friends – as well as the Nordic region’s largest group travel company, which this year has a turnover of approximately SEK 1.7 billion.
