EU blocks Booking from acquiring Swedish Etraveli

Booking Holdings may not acquire Sweden's Etraveli. The EU General Court has dismissed Booking's appeal, thereby upholding the European Commission's 2023 decision to block the deal. For the Swedish travel giant, the ruling means it will continue as an independent company – despite Booking and Etraveli already having extensive commercial cooperation.

SAS most punctual in Europe in August
