- Norwegian is in the driver's seat right now and has a stronger position than ever in its markets, says Per Mehol Stenersen, manager at Eika Kapitalforvaltning to Dagens Näringsliv.

Unlike the long-distance company Norse Atlantic Airways, which has repeatedly raised new capital, Norwegian has secured parts of its fuel costs. According to analysts at Pareto Securities, there is also room to raise ticket prices by 8-15 percent to meet cost increases.

At the same time, Norwegian has a stronger balance sheet, which according to the manager makes the company more resilient to fluctuations in demand and rising commodity prices.
