Revenue for Stockholm hotels fell by 5 percent in March compared to the same month last year. Occupancy dropped by 1 percentage point below the 60 mark, and both the average price and RevPAR fell by just over 5 percent.

In Gothenburg, business was brisker. Occupancy rose from last year's 55 to 63 percent, and the average price increased by 50 kronor to 1,087 kronor. This meant that RevPAR increased from last year's 563 kronor to 682 this year. This can be compared to Stockholm, where revenue per available room fell to 743 kronor.

In Malmö, it was quieter but stable. Occupancy increased by a percentage point to 57 percent, and RevPAR crept up by ten kronor to 530 kronor. The average prices for a room in Malmö are just over a thousand kronor and are slightly lower than last year.
