Radisson opens 401-room hotel at Manchester City's stadium complex
Radisson Blu Medlock Hotel has opened at Etihad Campus in Manchester. The new hotel has 401 rooms and is the first hotel project developed by Manchester City Football Club together with Radisson Hotel Group.
The hotel is located next to Etihad Stadium and Co-op Live, the UK's largest indoor arena, and is the first completed part of the new Medlock Square district.
In addition to 401 rooms and suites, the hotel offers several restaurants and bars, a 24-hour fitness facility, and meeting and event spaces. Some rooms overlook Etihad Stadium and can be converted into hospitality suites on matchdays.
Later this year, Medlock Square will be complemented by restaurants, bars and cafés, as well as a new Manchester City museum, a rooftop walk over the stadium, a zip line and a covered event space with capacity for up to 3,000 people.
The development is part of Manchester City's expansion of the Etihad Campus into a larger destination for sport, concerts, conferences and other events.
