Winners and losers in the hotel industry - billion-dollar profits and heavy setbacks

The 756 Swedish hotels we examine had a turnover of nearly 50 billion kronor in 2024 with a total result (measured as EBIT, i.e., before financial net and tax) of 1.7 billion and had 28,000 employees.
First and largest is the listed Scandic's Swedish subsidiary with a turnover of 6.6 billion and a profit of 319 million.
