Ving and Apollo see no immediate risk of disruptions to summer travel.

Ving states that the company is closely monitoring the situation, but refers to reports of well-stocked fuel depots at Nordic airports and good regional refinery capacity.

- There is also good capacity of refineries in our region and the raw material for aviation fuel that we use primarily comes from the North Sea. We are not initially alarmed by these media reports, but of course, we take it very seriously, says Ving's communications manager, Claes Pellvik, to Göteborgsposten.

Apollo also currently sees no risk of disruptions.

The company emphasises that airlines are continuously monitoring the situation and that travellers will be contacted in the event of any changes.

Both organisers state that customers are entitled to a refund if trips are cancelled due to fuel shortages.

GP has contacted TUI without result.
