Private jet booms in flight chaos
Flight disruptions in the Middle East are driving a strong demand for private jets. While tens of thousands of travellers are stranded after cancelled flights, well-off passengers are choosing to charter their own planes home to Europe.
Industry players report that demand has skyrocketed in recent days. This is reported by TT.
- The demand is enormous and we cannot deliver enough planes, says Altay Kula, CEO of the private jet broker Jet-Vip, to Fortune.

The increased demand has also pushed up prices. A flight from the region to Europe now costs around 200,000 euros - just over 2 million kronor - which is about twice as much as normal.
According to Ameerh Naran, CEO of Vimana Private Jets, the current price is between 150,000 and 200,000 euros depending on the route and availability.
